Segunda cosa.- La ideología de fondo. Cuando hablaba mi cuñado de esta publicación yo me la imaginaba como el típico periódico en el que se abordan cuestiones espirituales, la acción social de la Iglesia, entrevistas con personajes importantes dentro del catolicismo, buenos sentimientos, en fin, lo que ofrecen muchas revistas, y que está muy bien, caramba, que no todo el mundo es descreído y ser católico no es malo, hombre. Pero me puse a leer un texto titulado Agit-Prop y me he dado cuenta de que lo que hay en Alba no es catolicismo, sino nacional-catolicismo. No es un periódico cristiano, es un periódico de derechas que dice que habla de cristianismo, pero, por lo que he podido ver, solamente de aquellas cuestiones "cristianas" que tienen que ver con la política. Vamos, que se usa el sentimiento religioso de mucha gente para arrojarlo contra el gobierno del PSOE.
Tercera cosa.- Visto como iba el asunto, no me quedó más remedio que intentar averiguar quiénes estaban detrás del Semanario. Os transcribo algunos item de la declaración de intenciones:

Y sigo brujuleando y en la base de la página veo que Alba pertenece al Grupo Intereconomía y, claro, me permitirán que haga un poco de demagogia: ¿no se decía en el Evangelio no sé qué de que era más difícil que entrara un rico en el Reino de los Cielos que pasara un camello por el ojo de una aguja? No deja de ser curioso que pertenezcan a un mismo grupo una publicación sobre Bolsa, inversiones, dinero y otra sobre espíritu religioso, ¿o es que alguien lo ve como parte de la misma realidad? Quizás sea eso.
